Return to Exercise: Postpartum

Sign up for this postpartum strength based program and receive member access to twenty-four self-paced workouts and educational content. Your member access is good for a year!

This is a great option for those wanting safe, efficient and effective return to exercise guidance, but want the flexibility to do workouts on their own schedule and from wherever they choose.

What’s Included

Workouts

24 strength and conditioning workouts, approximately 30 minutes each. Programmed specifically for women returning to exercise with in the first yeat after giving birth. Re-engage with your pelvic floor and its supporting muscles in a progressive and safe manner.

Videos

Each workout includes a follow-along video so you can see proper form and stay motivated working out alongside me! The programming is also written out with each video to view in advance.

Supplemental Material

Additional videos and handouts on relevant topics include: pelvic floor overview and breath work, how to assess diastasis recti, a nutrition guide, and more!

Equipment

Dumbbells or kettlebells (sub water bottles or jugs), resistance band(s), hip circle/short resistance band (optional), yoga mat (optional). Examples for purchase included.

A willingness and desire to plan time for your workouts into your day without external accountability.

Self Compassion

Expect to have off days and weeks during your return to exercise journey: that is okay! Do what you can, as you can, and give yourself continued grace and praise.

My expertise and perspective

Experience

As a mama, I went through my own postpartum return to exercise journey. I experienced the ups and downs of relearning my body and its capabilities, and mentally accepting the changes it has gone through.

I have 16 years as a fitness coach and 13 years as a dietitian under my belt; this time has given me a solid foundation to guide myself, and other women, during this exciting and challenging time of our lives!

Education

My personal experience with birth and the months that followed lead me to expand my career training from dietetics and general personal training to dive further into pre and postnatal fitness specifically.

In addition to my past degree in Exercise Science, MS in Food Policy and Nutrition, and dietetic credential, I am certification as a pre and postnatal fitness coach from Girls Gone Strong and am an Intuitive Eating Counselor.

Passion

Fitness is empowering! I am so happy to be a resource for women seeking to regain strength and confidence in their bodies, no matter their body shape or size, while keeping up with their baby-filled lives.

After having my daughter I discovered my passion to guide women postpartum (which is a lifetime!). To combine this with my lived and learned experience with improving relationship with our bodies as a HAES® professional is such a wonderful, and necessary, combination!
